It is officially stated that Herr Hitler has taken Slovakia under his protection.
Dr. Tiso, Slovak Premier, sent a telegram to Herr Hitler, saying: “In full confidence in you, the Slovak State places itself under your protection.” •
Herr Hitler replied: “Herewith I take over protection of the Slovak State.”
