Four Guests Honoured At Jolly Party
Pour guests of honour attended a combined party at the residence of Mr and Mi*s M. R. Findlay, Kauika Road, on Wednesday evening.
Two of the guests, Miss Gwen Edge, of Kamo, and Mrs Woodhams are leaving the district shortly, the former to reside in Auckland and the latter in
Sydney. Miss Mary Fraser, who is shortly to be married, was another of the guests, while Mr H. Beehre was duly honoured on the occasion of his approaching marriage.
Each guest of honour, received a, gift,
Dancing, competitions and round-the-piano singing kept the happy party in good mood until a late hour. Hostesses 'were Mrs Findlay and Miss Frances Findlay. Others present were Mesdames Fraser, W. Hewitt and I/. Wilton and Misses Joan Geissler, Lasca Lloyd, Rose Laurie. Zoe Phillips, Ava Garry, Joan Hodsell, Thyrza. Hendy, Joyce Peters, Kathleen McConnell and, Maud Hawken.
