Demand for Winter Sports Gear
Winter is coming: There is proof of it in Whangarei. Winter sports goods are already in demand.
A sports dealer, when interviewed yesterdaj r , stated that he has had numerous requests for all winter sports gear. Footballs and hockey sticks have been in popular demand, he said, and numerous customers have priced other gear, such as badminton x’acquets and football shinguards Last year, at this time, the dealer had had no requests for winter sports gear, which surely must be an indication that the public is expecting an early and prolonged winter. Football Boots. A boot retailer and repairer stated that he has already sold a number of football boots. During the last week he had repaired no fewer than three pairs of football boots, and had put new sprigs on Other pairs.
