Kaikohe Meets Mairtown

A team from the Kaikohe Tennis Club paid their annual visit to the Mairtown Club, Whangarei, during the week-end. The majority of the games between the two clubs were Keenly contested, and resulted in a win for Mairtown by 31 sets, 367 games to 16 sets and 319 games. Speaking during the day, Mr Moor, vice-president of the Kaikohe Club, thanked the Mairtown Club for their hospitality and expressed pleasure in renewing old friendships. Mr A. D.
