SYDNEY, January 30. In the Sheffield Shield cricket match, Victoria v. New South Wales today, Victoria, in the first innings, made 259 runs (Gregory 76, Hassett, 82). Gilmore took three wickets for 50 runs. New South Wales, in the second innings, scored 217 runs (Barnes 48, Solomon 49). Scott took five wickets for 46 runs. In the first innings, New South Wales * had been dismissed for 120.
