The principal prizes in the New Year Luck art union, which was drawn last evening, were won as follows: — First, £2000.-127596, Mrs D. Sprigg, Frome Street, Oamaru. Second, £500.-10621, Mrs R.J.P., 27 Millais Street, Grey Lynn, Auckland. Third, £2OO. Box,” Waihi. Fourth, £IOO.-197531, “False Set,” Petone. Fifth, £75. Gum,” Waimate. The only winner of 'a £lO prize in Northland was 24105, W. Clarke, Batley. Northland winners of £5 prizes were:—24o9B, “Home, Sweet Home,” F. Heatley, Te Kopuru; 185167, “High Caste,” V. Wenzlick, Kaiwaka; 121942, “Good Luck,” Hikurangi; 122143, Stars E. Yorke, Box 105, Kaikohe;. 97780, “New Year Luck,” A. Dobson, 4 Seaview Road, WWangarfei; N. Reid, Third Avenue, Whangarei; 98201, “My Luck at Last,” North, Auckland.
