[Special to “Northern Advocate ” 3 DARGAVILLE, This Day. Slightly over four and a-half inches of rain fell in the 24 hours ended 9 a.xn. today, making a total of 4:72in. for the month. The Northern Wairoa Scottish Society’s annual Highland dancing contest and sports, and the Dargaville Bowling Club’s pairs tournament, set down for today, were postponed.
