N.Z. Dairy Coy.’s Huge December Payout

The advance payment to both butter and cheese suppliers to the New Zealand Co-op. Dairy Company, Ltd.,’ for December butterfat totalled £782,591, which was an increase of £36,131 over the corresponding months of the previous season. The basis of the advance payment for the last month was per lb for finest butterfat for buttermaking and 1/4 per lb for first grade for cheesemaking, as compared with 1/1 and 1/21 per lb respectively during the previous season.
