Comings And Goings At Russell
Mr and Mrs Fred Girlich, Brown’s Bay, Auckland, are staying with their daughter, Mrs W. Rivers, Baker Street, Russell. Mrs Girlich has just returned from a visit to England and- the Continent, and so has much to tell) her daughter and numerous friends. Mr and Mrs J. W. Ross, Misses Betty and Joan Ross, Miss Mary Peake and Mr T. D. H. Hicks, Cambridge, who have been spending a week under canvas at Russell, moved on to Opononi via the harbour ferry and Paihia. The party intends staying a day or so at the West Coast resort before returning south via the Waipoua Forest and Dargaville.
