Edgar Bonnet, de- . lared on behalf of the Board that the stp Company would not be coerced Into' relinquishment of its rights. t Referring to the Italian claim, he pointed out that the status //of the f canal is unchangeable .without the consent of Egypt, to whom the con- 4 cession reverts after 30 years, and the • consent of the Company, which is ;V resolved not to allow derogation of its ’; rights,, or a change in the concession ;;j| for which it had assumed all risk.
