Italian Demands On France
(Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, January 13. The British United Press Rome correspondent says that an authoritative French source declares that Signor Mussolini has assured Mr. Chamber- 5* iain that he does not envisage any hostilities with France. This statement follows a report in “The Times” that it is persistently , ? rumoured in Paris that the Italian Government has communicated to the French Government a broad*- outline of its demands. One report even says the demands were submitted in the form of an -$| ultimatum, but the French Foreign Office denies this. . i M. Herriot Hits Ottt M.
