First Atlantic Air Captain Appointed
(Received 1 p.m.) RUGBY, January 13. The first captain to be appointed by Imperial Airways to command flyingboats on the trans-Atlantic service is Captain J. C. K. Rogers, who will command the Cabot. Captain Rogers joined the R.A.F. in 1927 and became an Imperial Airways pilot 10 years later. He has been regularly engage don Empire services and has 5000 flying hours to his credit.
