SYDNEY, January 2. In the Sheffield Shield cricket match against Queensland, New South Wales in its first innings made 214 (Pepper 39). Ellis took three wickets for 42. Queonslano in its first innings made 200 (Brown 95). Barnes took three wickets for 20. New South Wales lost two wickets for 76 in its second innings (Barnes 37 not out).
