Japan’s Aberdeen
[lndependent Cable Service! (Received 10 a.m.) GLASGOW, December 16. During the trial of a firm charged with falsely applying the description “Scotch whisky” to a blend of Irish and Scotch whiskys, an expert stated that the Japanese are endeavouring to copy Scotch distilling, and have even named a Japanese town Aberdeen so they can call the product Aberdeen whisky.
