Four People injured When Cars Collide
[.Special to “Northern Advocate”'] WELLINGTON, Tin? Day. Four perrons were injured wi'.c-n two cars collided on the Mi in North FiOad north of Upper Hu.t at one o’clock yesterday morning. The cars were driven by Mr Patrick John Madden, of Cross Creek, and Mr Flewellyn Percy Morris, of Masterton, respectively. Mr Morris’ car was badly damaged, and caught fire, but the flames were quickly put cut with a Are extinguisher. Passengers in Mr Madden’s car who were injured were Miss Sadie Rosalind Child, aged 21, of Wellington, who suffered concussion, and Miss Joan Margaret Mason, aged 19, of Wellington, who suffered a severe cut on the face. Mrs Morris, who was travelling with her husband, suffered head and leg injuries, while another passenger also suffered cuts to the face.
