Mr W. S. W. Averill
OBITUARY
[Special to “Northern Advocate ”] AUCKLAND, This Day. The death occurred this morning of Wilfred Selwyn Weir Averill, of Hastings, third son of Archbishop Averill, Primate of New Zealand, and Mrs Averill. Mr Averill died in a private hospital, aged 38. He was one of the most popular figures in the legal profession in Hawke’s Bay. He was born in England, and educated at Christ’s College. Mr Averill came to Auckland three weeks ago to enter hospital. He was later discharged, but re-entered the institution last week. He leaves a widow and two young daughters.
