Japan’s Wool Needs
(Received 12.30 p.m.) ■> TOKYO, December 16. The prospect of Japan’s importation of wool in 1939 will depend almost entirely on the military and exporters’ requirements, because it is estimated that the stock carry-over into 1939 will approximate 60,000 bales earmarked for domestic use, which, based on the recent restricted consumption, will suffice to October.* However, further restriction is contemplated.
