Apart from light rain on Tuesday, the past few days have been marked by beautiful summer sunshine. ‘"•Yesterday was particularly clear and Warm, but early in the evening steady rain set in and continued intermittently throughout the night, the recording at the Nixon Street observatory this morning being .27 inch.
