Tangiteroria Institute Holds Dance
With the object of augmenting their Christmas tree fund the members of the Tangiteroria Women’s Institute staged a most enjoyable dance in the Settlers’ Hall on Friday evening last, there being a splendid attendance. Good music was provided and extras played by Miss Venus Tito and Mr Mitchell were much appreciated. Mr Crave!! Clarke officiated as M.C. Novelty items included a Monte Carlo which was won by Miss Joyce Taylor and Mr J. Richards and a competition for a Christmas cake made by Mrs J. Hall and decorated by Mrs C. C. Clarke. The lucky winner was Miss Barbara Clotworthy Supper was provided by the Institute members.

Murdoch, floral georgette; Melva Mclntosh, navy blue ninon; Doreen Cleary, floral sheer; L. Norris, black floral crepe; A. Clarke, checked silk; H. Beatty, blue shot taffeta; Vi Murdoch, apple green sheer organdie; Doreen Taylor, floral marocain; Emily Norris, blue taffeta; Zeta Nash, navy striped American sheer; Joy Armstrong, red and white spotted frock; Jean Tocker, white satin/ with silver trimmings; Rona Armstrong, powderblue angel skin lace; Patricia Were, pink velvet; Emmaline Tito, navy and white satin; A.
