Maori Woman’s Death
At an inquest into the death of Mrs Mary Flrimona Cash, a Maori, aged 32, of Tangowahine, a verdict that death was due to natural causes, accelerated by under-nourishment, was returned by the district coroner, Mr J. A. McLean.
Medical evidence was'given by IVr. C. Mules, who stated that in a postmortem examination he found the deceased’s body to be emaciated. He considered that the deceased probably died from consumption, and debility caused by underfeeding.
