"The Oaks," Parua Bay. Dear Kupe and Princess, Yes, here I am at last, writing to thank you very much indeed for sending me such a lovely prize book. I was thrilled to bits on receiving it, and luckily it is one I hadn't read. I have just started reading it. and it seems awfully interesting and amusing. I did not start before, as I was doing the enclosed tatting to. send along .to you to sell, and keep the proceeds for the Orphanage fund. Hope you get enough ior it, to make it worth while! Isn't the total growing nicely? 1 expect you are having plenty of interesting times with Betty Bus and the pictures! Yes, I would like to link Up with the ex-Members' Club, but how do I do it? You see, we don't get the "Advocate," only neighbours pass it on sometimes, so you see, I missed seeing about the ex-Members' -Club! Sorry! I remain, A Senior Member, - MADGE HOGWOOD.
