Miners’ Costly Strike

Declaring that the miners were voluntarily sacrificing thousands of pounds daily in wages by deliberately restricting the supplies, the chairman ot the Northern Collieries Association, Mr J. C. 'McGann, said that there was already a serious shortage f- of coal, and the export trade was threatened. >
