Veterans’ Tourney
ROTORUA, This Day. The first qualifying round of -the New Zealand veterans’ tournament was decided on the Rotorua ;solf course yesterday in weather conditions which were not of the best. The best net scores during the day were four of 67 returned by J. D. Brown, of Levin; L. S. ‘McClurg. Napier; C. Kusabs, Rotorua; and C. G. Herrold, of Whakatane, who head the list, while six other players returned net balls of under 70. St. C. Jounfieaux, of Whangarei, returned a card of 96, 23 —73. The second qualifying round is being played today.
