Kaitaia Factory Staff Ball Big Event

The fourth annual ball of the Kaitaia Co-operative .Dairy Company’s staff w.as held last Friday, and, like its predecessors, was an unqualified success. The hall was pleasingly decorated with lycopodium fern, nikau palms, while lilies and baboons, set off with appropriate designs worked in coloured crepe paper. The music was by the Dixie Band. The attendance was very large, the door takings amounting to £4O. Prizes :ior a spot waltz were won by Miss Gallagher and Mr Wright. The excellent supper provided was fully appreciated, many of the dancers having come long distances.
