Hakaru
A bright and jolly dance, arranged by the Kaiwaka Basketball Club was held in the Hakaru hall on Friday night, when nearly £lO was taken in door fees. Snappy dance numbers were played by Mr. Merv. Meiklejohn and friends from Matakana. The Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mrs. F. Wright and partner. The duties of M.C. were in the hands of Mr. D. Stewart.
