Wrestling Thrills Tomorrow Night
The popular Pat Fraley, who delighted local wrestling enthusiasts with his performance when he appeared in Whangarei earlier in the season, will be seen here again tomorrow night. His opponent will be Andy Moen, of Minnesota, a proven campaigner, who can be depended upon to extend Fraley to the utmost. This is a contest which will not only make a strong appeal to the public, but which will also give a splendid return for the patronage accorded it. Moen has given highly impressive displays wherever he has competed in the Dominion, and, since he has been here, right from the outset, Whangarei is one of the few places at which he has yet to appear. Moen, who is about 6ft. in height and weighs a little over 16 stone, is a perfect match for Fraley from the point of physique, and his style also follows similar lines to those of his antagonist. The result will be that the spectators will see fast and exhilarating mat work from the start to the finish, with n wide variety of holds and manoeuvres used on both sides. Opposed by a versatile performer like Fraley, he will give the spectators something to remember. 527
