London to New York Overnight

Speaking at Cambridge, Mr Mayo, designer of the composite seaplane bearing his name, said it was hoped soon to begin construction on a new land type of composite machine. “I hope we can have a top speed of 300 miles an hour, and a cruising speed of just a bit Jess, so that we will fee able to fly non-stop overnight with one tone of useful load from London to New York.
“You will post your letters in Loti ■ i don at 6 p.m., and they will be delivered in New York first post next mottling.” he said.
