No action is to be taken by the Whangaroa Hospital Board in furtherance of its proposed new building plan until-the Social Security Bill has been considered by Parliament. This decision was made at the board’s monthly meeting in Kaeo on Monday. A special committee comprising the chairman, Mr J. W. Hayes, Mr Weber, Dr. Sharpe and the secretary was set up to report on repairs to the nurses quarters at a special meeting to be hold on Saturday.
