Although Dannevirke scored the first goal, there was little element of competition in the match with the Prince of Manavadar's hockey team yesterday. Tn dry conditions, and on a good ground, the Indians were masters of the situation all the time, and scored 11 goals to their opponents’ one. The score was 4—l at half-time, Sultan Khan having obtained two goals and Feroz Khan and Hussian one each. Latif and Feroz Khan scored in quick succession early in the second half. Four goals, one by Feroz Khan and three by Shahabuddin, were gained in the last quarter of an hour. PI Robinson scored for Dannevirke.
