Week-End Golf At Russell
A fine week-end found members of the Russell Golf Club out in full force on the Waitangi links again after a fortnight’s spell. The fairways and greens were extremely heavy, following the long spell of rain and scores in the week-end competitions were consequently poor. Owing to pressure of business Mr H. J. Keenan has been compelled to resign from the dual role of secre-tary-treasurer of the Russell Club. His place has been taken by Mr C. J. Campbell, of Russell.
