Davis Cup Enthusiasm
MONTREAL, August 8
Advance ticket sales indicate that all accommodation will be sold out for the Davis Cup matches between Australia and Japan, and officials are attributing most of the credit for this to Bromwich and his ambidextrous style. He has been the object of the most intense interest since his arrival. The Australians are heavy favourites against Japan with local sports followers. Both teams held long weekend workouts. Yamagishi is still in hospital, although it is reported he is recovering rapidly, and is planning to resume training tomorrow or on Thursday.
