More Motorists Fined

Motorists again featured in the Magistrate’s Court this morning, when another batch of summonses resulted in numerous fines for failure to carry certificates of fitness. Mr G. N. Morris, S.M., presided. Fines of £1 were inflicted on the following, who had not produced certificates of fitness: Richard Ball (costs 10/-), W. Dyer (costs 12/-), Wm. Dyke (costs 12/-), Winifred Fricker (costs 10/-), A. C. Henderson (costs 10/->, Geo. Hendy (costs 10/-), Frank Hoar (costs 12/-), H. W. James (costs 10/-), R, McCarroll (costs 12M. J. W. Parkin (costs JO/-), G. S. Walker (costs 12/-). W. J. O’Brien (costs 10/-), Mona McKenzie (costs 12/-), H. Scally 'costs 12/-). and Stanley Thomasscn 'costs 12/-). Stanley Thomassen was also fined £1 with costs 10/- for driving without a license, and ordered to pay costs of 10;'- for not having a license for his vehicle. Stephen Keogh was fined £l, with Ifi - costs, for having no certificate of fitness, and was ordered to make good damage to a telegraph pole which he admitted damaging by colliding with it.
