An Inch Of Rain Per Hour
An inch of ram per hour was the tally of the weather clerk at the Umawera School on Wednesday. On the official gauge the total rainfall registered between 12 noon and 2 p.m. was two inches, the deluge which resulted in this amazing record being described as something in the nature of a cloudburst.
