Has Government Offensive Stopped?
(Received 3 p.m.) SARAGOSSA, July 29. Rebels claim that the Government offensive has now shot its bolt, and the attackers are in danger of isolation. Over 200 planes are continuously bombing the Government lines of communication. A Barcelona message says that the Government denies that the advance has been stemmed, and states that only | one road is open fof the rebels to leave Gandesa. The Foreign Minister, Senor del Vayo, states that he is most satisfied with the progress of the advance. Its brilliance and precision could not be equalled even in peace-time manoeuvres. A cable from Valencia states that insurgent planes dropped 100 bombs on Valencia.
