Mr Malcolm MacDonald, who has made important announcements regarding the West Indies and Malta, is British Colonial Secretary, and is thirty-seven years of age. He is a son of the late Mr Ramsay MacDonald, and has been a member of the House of Commons since 1929 (with a short break), when he was elected a Labour member for the Basset-law Division of Notts. He now represents the Ross and Cromarty constituency.
