New Farmers’ Union Branch

A branch of the New' Zealand Farmers’ Union has been formed in the Otaika-Puwera district. At a meeting held recently, Mr N. F. Taylor, Dominion organiser of the union, outlined the objects of the movement and gave some very interesting sidelights on farmers’ problems. At the conclusion of Mr Taylor's address it was decided to form a branch, and the following officers were elected:—President, Mr E. A. Vyle; vice-presidents, Messrs J. M. Steadman -. and H. Dwyer; secretary, Mr F. H. Poclman; delegate to Whangarei sub-provincial. executive. Mr J. M. Steedman; sub-delegate. Mr F. H. Pcoiman.
