Two good professional bouts were staged by the recently revived Wanganui Boxing; association before a good home lasi night. The main bout was between B. McLachlan (Auckland!, fist, fi lb., and Fat Murphy (Ireland), fist. 71b, McLachlan secured a popular victory after being the aggressor ih roughoiit. The other bout which was more spectacular. was between Joe Hanson (Petone*. fist. 2 lb,, and D. Carbine <Wellington; fist. alb. Hanson secured a i points victory
