School were unfortunate in not being able to field their first nine, several members being absent owing to measles. Had it not been for this setback, the school teams on the whole would probably occupy higher positions in each grade. School’s handling, however, was hampered by lack of regular players. The losers were very game, however, and battled right to the final whistle. Convent beat Bargain Stores A 19—7. The winners' goal-shooting was of a high order. Bargain Stores, who fielded a scratch team put up a good showing Old Clitic Reserve gave a splendid performance when they boat School Bl 21 —8. In goal. Miss Burgess could not miss, while Betty Clark, centre, was the outstanding player of the game. Modesto Inder and Jean Reid combined well in defence. School’s passing was fast and clean, but they could not get past the opposing centre. B Grade Matches.
