N.W. Chairman Forgot To Sign Nomination
[Special to “Northern Advocate.”] DARGAVILLE, This Day. Nominees for two vacancies on the directorate of the Northern Wairoa Co-op. Dairy Company are Messrs. E. G. Appleton (sitting, Hoanga), W. Kay (Hcanga), and F. E. Crawford (Tangowahine). The chairman of directors, Mr C. N. Taylor, was eligible for re-election. At the conclusion of yesterday’s annual meeting, at which he presided, however, he hurried to his home at Awakino Point to Mrs Taylor, who has been in ill-health, and overlooked the fact that he had not signed his nomination paper. When his attention was drawn to the fact, it was after 5 o’clock. Mr Taylor has been a member of the directorate for 21 years and chairman for the past 12 months.
