Racing Club Officers Elected
Mr. R. G. Hosking presided over a fair attendance of members at the Whangarei Racing Club’s annual meeting last night. The following officers were elected for the ensuing pear. Patron, Mr. J. G. Barclay, M.P.; president, Mr. R. G. Hosking (re-elected unopposed); vicepresident, Mr. L. R. Nelson; committee, the president, vice-president, Col. J. N. McCarroll, D. 5.0., C.M.G., and Messrs K. G. M. Kelly, T. Linnell, J. A. S. Mac Kay, M. Mclnnies, A. MacKay, E. A. Simmons, A. J. Murdoch, C. H. Finlayson; stewards, the president, vice-president, Col. J. N. McCarroll and Messrs J. A. S. Mac Kay, M. Mclnnes, A. J. Murdoch, A. J. Mac Kay, E. A. Simmons, L. A. Johnson, J. Wall, and T. A. Williams; auditor, Mr. W. T. Surman.
