8994 Names On Bay Main Electoral Roll
[Special to “Northern Advocate.’’] KAIKOHE, This Day, The main roll, which has just been printed containing 8994 names, shows a decrease of 725 in the number of electors in the Bay of Islands constituency. The decrease is due to the alteration of the boundaries of the electorate. The Hikurangi district, including the township and a part of the Mangakahia area, has been added to Marsden. This leaves the Bay of Islands electorate almost entirely a rural constituency.
