[Special to “Northern Advocate.”} WELLINGTON, This Day. A wide building programme in Northland is detailed in the current Estimates of the P.W.D. announced today. Among the principal items to be undertaken in this district are the following.— Agricultural: Stock inspector’s residence, Dargaville, £480; residence and site for orchard instructor, Kerikeri, £1250; cottage and site for caretaker, Mokau, £2OO. Departmental: Kaitaia Public Works store, access road, £80; Whangarei Public Works garage, improvements and extensions, £1000; land, £2OO. Courthouses: Dargaville (additions and electrical installations), £7O; Kaeo, £170; Whangarei, £20,000, on account. Police stations: Kaeo, £150; Whangarei, £2OOO. Post and Telegraph: Kaipara Flats residence, £450; additions, £1000; Kaiwaka, additions,. £750; Maungaturoto, office, residence and site, £SO; Okaihau, residence and additions, £2800; Whangarei, additions, £2000; line store and garage £2200. Lighthouses and harbour works: Mangonui wharf, £1720; Pai’engarenga harbour, £200; Te Kao wharf, I £750; Te Kopuru wharf, £IOOO.
