f Special to “Northern Advocate:'! AUCKLAND, This Day. Terminating the sorting of mails on Pacific liners, the Post and Telegraph Department today brought ashore its agent and his assistant on the Niagara and dismantled sorting cases and mail bag hoppers. In future, the greater proportion of New Zealand mail will be diverted to the new Empire air service, via Australia. The Niagara’s mail on this trip was a record for the vessel. It totalled 3669 bags, over 500 bags more than was brought' at the Christmas rush. There are also 1138 bags for Australia.
