Big Season For Apples
(Received 1.30 p.m.» LONDON. July 23. The Australian and New Zealand Apple Association, now drawing to a close, lias been the most satisfactory for many years. Indeed, some importers say prices are the best realised since the war. One contributory factor to this gratifying state cf affairs has been the comparative failure of (he small fruit crops in Britain and the Continent owing to the dry and cold spring. Another lias boon the excellent condition i'n which Dominion apples arrived.
