Queen Marie's Funeral
(Received 12 Noon.) BUCHAREST, July 24. After the service at Controceni Palace, the coffin containing the remains of Queen Marie was placed on a gun-carriage, and was followed by King Carol, Crown Prince Michael, Prince Nicholas, and other, through the streets, which were lined by thousands. The coffin was taken to the cathedral, where the service was conducted by the Patriarch of the Orthodox Church, and from there it was borne to the Royal Mausoleum at Curtea do Arges, where is was laid beside that of the Queen’s husband, King Ferdinand.
