[Special to “Northern Advocate.'! AUCKLAND, This Day. The seventy-ninth annual report of the New Zealand Insurance Co. Ltd. shows that premium incomes reached a record high level of £1,359,991. Losses also reached a record high level of £823,852. The underwriting surplus was £85.804, compared with £83.278 in the previous year. Investment earnings were £134,869. compared with £12,559. Another £50,000 is added to reserves, which are now at the record figure of £1,802,624. The usual dividend of 10 per cent, per annum is being paid.
