Team to Meet Indians Not Yet Selected

Although it was understood that the team to meet the Indians would be selected and played as a team in order to get combination, no announcement has yet been made. Judging cn past performances, it looks as though Challenger will he

very hard to keep out of goal for the representative side. F. Carter seems a certainty as full-back. His companion may be either A. Kelly or J. R. Price, both of whom have been doing very good work so far. For the halfline, W. Johns will be difficult to beat for centre-half, and H. Fyfe would make a first-rate right-half, and K. Carter could hold his own on the left. G. Windley. A. Sloane and C. Bint would be good picking for left wing, inside left and centre forward respectively. with G. Shepherd inside right and J. Palmer on the right wing. J. Hackett is another player likely to gain a place. The selectors have taken time over their job, however, and their decision remains 1c be seen.
