Ten City Men Hold Whakapara
The field was more than half under water at Whakapara for the tussle between City and tl*e home team. City at the last minute had considerable difficulty in raising any of their players at all, and in consequence took a scratch combination of only 10 players out for the match. Whakapara were also without several of their regular performers, but fielded a full team with the inclusion of several juniors.
