The totalisator handled £10.430, against £9193/10/- last year, an increase of £1236/10/-. Results: — Rangitikei Hunt Cup Steeples, of 160 sovs.; 21 miles.—(3) Hanover, 9.0, 1; (4) Lady Callaghan, 9.0, 2; (.2) Manawatu, 11.2, 3. All started. Airshot and Interlocutor fell. Four lengths; ten lengths. Time: 4.30 2-5. Riddiford Handicap, of 140 sovs.: seven furlongs.— (4) Winsome Lu. 8.1, 1; (1) Play On, 8.3. 2; (3) Pukeko, 8.8, 3. Scr.: King Mestor. Two lengths; three-quarters of a length. Time: 1.35 4-5. Otairi Ladies’ Bracelet, of 75 sovs.; 1.1 miles. — (4) Kohika. 11.0, 1: (1) Tres Sec. 12.10, 2; <2) Brioni, 11.0, 3. All started.
