Plans For Girls' Hostel On The Way
Plans arc being prepared by the Education Department for a new hostel at the Whangarei Girls’ High School. Sketch plans for a new school
building are also expected to be undo- way in the near future. In a letter lo Mr J. G. Barclay, M.P.. the Minister of Education, the Hon. P. Fraser, stales that sketch plans of a new hostel are being prepared for submission to the Whangarei High School Board. Immediately these
plans arc completed a start will be made on Ihe plans for a new school building. Mr Fraser acknowledges representations by Mr Barclay concerning the school and hostel and states that the matters will be expedited as much as possible.
